Lenovo IdeaCentre A540 Overview: A Glance at This New All-in-One with Unique Design and Amazing Display

This all-in-one computer, which is expected to be available for online shoppers soon, will be a great addition to any home or office. It appears to have a very asymmetrical design and will be available in two display sizes: 24-inch (1920 x 1080) and 27-inch (2560 x 1440). Both will be touch, although Lenovo will also offer non-touch versions. There is also a wide array of ports on the Lenovo IdeaCentre A540, including HDMI in and out.

It offers everything from a wide range of ports to a powerful 9th Gen. processor. Where it really stands out, though, is its display. The design of each display features very narrow bezels and a 93% screen-to-body ratio, giving users much more screen viewing to enjoy than most other 24-inch and 27-inch displays. The 3840 x 2160 screen is capable of supporting 10-bit colors, which equates to over 1.07 billion of them altogether. With the IPS panel, there is a 178-degree viewing angles. There is also a Natural Low Blue Light that decreases eye-strain.

Not only does it come with good display options, the other of the Lenovo IdeaCentre A540 specs include:

With the rich discrete graphics and Gen. 9 Intel Core processing, you can count on the A540 running seamlessly and efficiently. With some models, there is an option for a 2TB hard disk drive if you would prefer high-capacity storage, although the SSD (up to 512GB) is faster. Qi-certified wireless charging technology is built into the base of the stand. There is Bluetooth 4.0 technology that allows you to sync this AiO with other computers and devices around the home or office.

As mentioned above, there are plenty of ports including two USB 2.0 standard ports, SUB 3.1 generation 1, USB 3.1 generation 2, 3-in-1 card reader (SD / SDHC / SDXC), HDMI, power DC, RJ45, and headphone / microphone combo.

There is pretty good audio that comes out of the machine, thanks to the 5W subwoofer and two x 3W tweeter.

To give you even more of an idea of the design, Lenovo has announced that this machine is modeled after the “asymmetry of a Cypress tree”. It looks very nice with its brass metallic stand.

This is definitely a must-have, new all-in-one computer. Keep an eye out for Lenovo IdeaCentre A540 promotional offers and discounts so that you can get it at an affordable price when available at the online store.
